Sophomores

NCCS has put together the following timeline to assist students and parents in making good decisions during High School that will make the transition to college easier and less stressful.  The following is a guideline to follow for Sophomores.

10th Grade

• Choose a rigorous course load based upon your ability level and future aspirations.
• Continue to focus on maintaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Sign up for community service.
• Get involved in extra-curricular activities.
• Take the PSAT Test in Octobor (provided by NCCS).
• Take the PLAN Test in October (provided by NCCS).
• Attend the College Representative visitations held during lunch as they become available.
• Attend the PROBE and National College Fairs as they become available.
• Participate in the Christian College Fair visit coordinated by NCCS.
• Be involved and attentive during Career Day.
